Privacy Policy

How Acre Safety, LLC (d/b/a Acre Child Safety) collects, uses, and protects your information across our websites and services.

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes how Acre Safety, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company doing business as Acre Child Safety (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our websites located at acrechildsafety.com, acrechildsafety.com, and acrehomesafety.com, together with any related subdomains, landing pages, or successor pages (collectively, the “Website”), and through other interactions you may have with us, including by telephone, email, text message, social media, and in-person consultations.

The Company provides child safety and childproofing consultation and installation services in residential homes. The Company may elect to offer the Services in commercial or institutional settings such as childcare facilities, offices, medical offices, churches, and other family-serving environments.

Your use of the Website and our services is also governed by our Terms of Use (the “Terms”), which are incorporated by reference into this Policy. The Terms are available on the Website. By accessing or using the Website or our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by both this Policy and the Terms. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms.

This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties, including any third-party websites, services, or applications that may be accessible through links on our Website. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party services before providing your information.

2. Children’s Privacy

Our Website and services are directed to adults, including parents, guardians, property owners and managers, and organizations serving families. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information promptly.

In the course of providing our child safety services, an adult customer may provide us with general information about children in the household (such as age range or developmental stage) solely for the purpose of recommending appropriate safety products and installations. We do not use such information for behavioral advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the delivery of our services. We do not sell or share children’s information for advertising purposes.

3. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

We may collect the following categories of information that you voluntarily provide to us:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, service address, and billing address.
  • Household and service details relevant to safety assessments and installations (e.g., room dimensions, areas of concern, number and general ages of children in the home).
  • Appointment and scheduling details.
  • Communications you send to us, including emails, text messages, phone inquiries, and messages sent through our Website contact forms.
  • Photographs of home areas that you submit for assessment purposes.
  • Payment and billing information provided through our third-party payment processor (we do not store full credit card or bank account numbers directly).
  • Reviews, testimonials, or feedback you submit.
  • Any other information you choose to provide in connection with our services.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Website, we (and our third-party service providers) may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device and browser information (e.g., device type, operating system, browser type and version, screen resolution).
  • IP address and general geographic location.
  • Website usage data, including pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and referring/exit URLs.
  • Cookies, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 4 below).

Information Received from Third Parties

We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license or passport numbers, login credentials or passwords, financial account numbers (other than through our third-party payment processor), racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, information concerning sexual orientation, or other sensitive personal information categories.

4. Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies

Our Website uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage) to facilitate Website functionality, analyze usage, and support our advertising efforts. The categories of cookies we may use include:

  • Necessary/Functional Cookies: Required for basic Website operation, such as maintaining session state and security.
  • Analytics/Performance Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with the Website, including page views, traffic sources, and usage patterns (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).

  • To process payments through our third-party payment processor.

  • To send appointment reminders and service-related communications.
  • To send marketing communications, newsletters, and promotional materials where you have not opted out.
  • To improve, maintain, and optimize our Website, services, and user experience.

  • Professional Advisors: Attorneys, accountants, insurance providers, and other professional advisors as necessary for business operations.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, financing, or transfer of all or a portion of our business.
  • Legal Compliance and Protection: When required by law, regulation, or legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

We require our service providers to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to the Company and do not authorize unrelated third parties to sell or monetize your personal information.

7. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services, including but not limited to scheduling software, payment processing platforms, Google Maps, video hosting, customer review widgets, and social media platforms. These third-party services have their own privacy policies and practices, which we do not control and for which we are not responsible.

We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website or service before providing personal information. Our inclusion of a link or integration does not imply endorsement of the linked site’s privacy practices.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to:

  • Provide our services and maintain customer and project records.
  • Comply with legal, accounting, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
  • Operate and improve our business.

As a general practice, customer and project records are retained for approximately seven (7) years following the completion of services, unless a longer retention period is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our interests. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe, opt out, or request deletion, subject to our legal retention obligations.

When personal information is no longer needed for any legitimate business or legal purpose, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect it from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. Our security practices include:

  • Use of reputable, commercially recognized third-party service providers.
  • Password-protected accounts and systems.
  • Limiting access to personal information on a need-to-know basis.
  • Multi-factor authentication where available.
  • Encryption in transit and at rest as provided by our vendors.
  • Secure third-party payment processing (we do not store full payment card data).
  • Device and account security practices.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will comply with applicable notification requirements.

10. International Data Transfers

Our Website and services are intended for use within the United States. We do not intentionally direct our Website to, or knowingly collect personal information from, individuals located outside the United States.

Some of our third-party service providers may process or store data on servers located outside the United States. In such cases, we rely on each vendor’s published data processing terms and applicable data transfer mechanisms. By using our Website or providing information to us, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers maintain facilities.

12. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Decision-Making

The Company does not use artificial intelligence, algorithms, or automated decision-making tools that produce legal or similarly significant effects on consumers. We do not engage in automated profiling that affects your eligibility for services, credit, employment, or similar outcomes.

We may use ordinary commercial analytics and advertising audience tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ads) for general marketing optimization and website performance analysis. These tools process aggregated or pseudonymous data for advertising targeting and reporting purposes, but they are not used to make individualized decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not use your personal information to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

13. Job Applicants

At this time, we do not operate an employment application portal through our Website. If we add such a feature in the future, we will update this Policy (or provide a separate applicant privacy notice) to describe the categories of applicant information collected, the purposes for collection, and the parties with whom such information may be shared.

If you submit employment-related inquiries or application materials to us by email or other means, we will use that information solely for the purpose of evaluating your candidacy and will retain it in accordance with our data retention practices described in Section 8 above.

14. Your Choices

As a courtesy and a matter of discretion, the Company may, but is not obligated to, consider the following types of requests regarding your personal information:

  • Access Requests: You may contact us to inquire about the personal data we hold about you. The Company may, at its sole discretion, elect to provide some or all of such information, or may decline to do so for any reason or no reason.
  • Correction Requests: You may request that we update or correct personal information you believe to be inaccurate. The Company reserves the right to grant or deny any such request in its sole discretion.
  • Deletion Requests: You may request that we delete your personal information. The Company may, at its sole discretion, choose to delete some, all, or none of your personal information, taking into account our legitimate business needs, legal retention obligations, and any other factors the Company deems relevant.
  • Marketing Communications: You may unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email, or by contacting us directly. Please note that even after you opt out of marketing communications, we may continue to send you service-related and transactional messages as permitted by law.
  • Cookies: You may control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please be aware that some Website features may not function properly if cookies are disabled. The Company is under no obligation to provide alternative means of accessing Website functionality if you choose to disable cookies.

The Company reserves the right to respond, or to decline to respond, to any request in its sole discretion and within any timeframe the Company deems appropriate.

Important Notice: Nothing in this Section 14 creates, and nothing herein should be construed as creating, any legal right, entitlement, or enforceable obligation. The Company provides the options described in this Section 14 solely as a matter of discretion and customer relations. The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue any or all of these options at any time, without notice, and for any reason or no reason. No federal, state, or local privacy statute currently applicable to the Company requires the Company to honor any request described in this Section 14, and the Company expressly disclaims any duty to do so.

15. Relationship to Our Terms

This Policy and the Terms of Use together constitute the integrated set of legal agreements governing your use of the Website and our services. Section 13(g) of the Terms is the incorporation clause tying these two documents together.

In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms regarding privacy or data-handling matters, this Policy controls. In all other respects, including, without limitation, liability limits (Section 4 of the Terms) and dispute resolution (Section 12 of the Terms), the Terms control.

In particular, and as further described in the Terms:

  • Limitation of Liability: Section 4 of the Terms sets forth limitations on the Company’s liability, including with respect to claims arising out of or relating to our data practices or this Policy, subject to the exceptions stated therein.
  • Dispute Resolution: Section 12 of the Terms governs the resolution of any disputes arising under or relating to this Policy, including the requirement that you first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days before initiating legal proceedings, and that any legal action shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, under Colorado governing law.
  • Website Use and Intellectual Property: Sections 13(h) and 13(i) of the Terms govern your use of the Website, including ownership of Website content and restrictions on unauthorized access, automated data collection, and misuse of the Website.
  • Electronic Communications: Section 13(j) of the Terms describes your consent to receive electronic communications from the Company, including appointment reminders and marketing messages, consistent with the choices described in Section 14 of this Policy.

All defined terms used in this Policy (including “Company,” “Website,” “Terms,” “you,” and “your”) shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Terms, unless otherwise defined herein.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update or revise this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or business operations. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice by posting a notice on the Website or, where feasible, by sending you a notification via email.

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about our privacy practices. Your continued use of the Website or our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
